Today’s project was a Hungarian ludláb “goose-foot” cake. No geese involved, just a name for a death-by-chocolate cake. Chocolate sponge, Parisian cream, and ganache.

I know it’s fall because I feel the urge to bake. Here’s my first-ever, from-scratch coconut-pineapple cake with cream-cheese frosting. Made at the request of the 5&8YO, and they even “helped”!

Timeline cleanse: I tried to make chocolate chip cookies but they turned into a flat, crumbly disaster (still tasty though). I suppose I should stick with what I know- flower arrangements from the garden #peony

Aside from the main Tgiving dinner, what are the nibbly things you make for guests? Mine is stangli, Hungarian mini breadsticks. These are caraway seed and sesame. I made them this morning and they’re half gone already 😁
