I hope you provided them some feedback on this training. It's funny and does provide some light relief but I wonder how often it means people give up on a learning attitude and just adopt a "what's the minimum I have to do to get through this". As you can't take bits of it seriously, why try.

For Australia to address the current challenges we need local research and a skilled workforce that can evaluate overseas research. I am disillusioned that the Labour party doesn't realize that investment in research whether CSIRO, tertiary sector, or independent returns much more than it costs.
