I thought the paper also stated that spike proteins were found in the brains of humans that had been autopsied. Did it not? Regardless inflammation is definitely a factor whether it is caused by the protein or not.

Thank you for sharing. As someone who has this type of long covid it reinforces what I believed which was inflammation was present. And now I know what causes the inflammation. Perhaps someday they will discover something to control or eliminate it. After 23 months out and still have some bad days.

Presents like a bad concussion or very mild stroke. Short term memory affected as well as speech center. I would know the right word but either not be able to find it or could find it but not be able to say it. After 11 months of speech therapy. I’m mostly okay but have days where words are hard.

I can answer to my own experience only, I have this type of long covid. I first noticed the neurological symptoms about a month, month and a half after my initial infection.
