Over the past two days, I've started and ended making batches of sour cream, cream cheese, yogurt, and cultured butter. Everything pictured here except the cream cheese.

I used my maternal grandmother's hand mixer and biscuit cutter this morning to make some key lime cookies. And I wonder why I'm feeling that bitter-sweet nostalgia today.
