I often think I love Star Trek in spite of Roddenberry, and later TNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise in spite of Rick Berman.
Mind you, some of the most defining concepts and things people loved about TOS weren't his idea, and he certainly didn't like comedy creeping into episodes like the TWTribbles

I have asthma, diabetes and fibromyalgia. This year I'm deemed not sufficiently immunocompromised to get a COVID booster on the NHS.
If I want it I will have to pay privately (around £100 I don't have.)
