A first winter Red-breasted flycatcher, Donna Nook, Lincolnshire, from late last month . Always a delight to encounter these sprightly little birds. This one involved a 35 mile e-bike journey from home - an infrequent event as my 71 years old legs get wobblier - but well worth the effort …
