Growing up in the Projects I would look out my window and WANT to be in Manhattan at a party. Enjoying life, drinking the drinks surrounded by cool hip people.
.After 20 years of going to, managing, & hosting events, that kid in me STILL loves going out.
Last night was about Toki Whisky and Jazz.
Cocktail menu – A black and red printed menu on a marble bar listing drinks made with Suntory Toki whisky, such as highballs and signature cocktails. Cocktail glass – A coupe glass filled with a rich amber drink, garnished with a skewered cherry and a small citrus slice. A one-day Gin (Vodka and Sake) fueled blitzkrieg focused on the classic of classic cocktails, The Martini. For some it was all about the education for others (like me) it was a reunion with cocktail loving friends and icons I’ve interviewed and partied with.

Always interesting to see a bar change ownership/direction.
Last time (maybe a year ago) time I was here it was a Tequila focused bar called Gran Electria.
Now it's a Swedish restaurant called Hildur.
Thankfully both had/have IPAs.
The Wavetable hazy IPA is perfect for a chill Sunday vibe.

Should be an interesting read.
Of Diamonds and Diplomats: An Autobiography of a Happy Life" is a memoir by Letitia Baldrige, a prominent American etiquette expert and social secretary. It was first published in 1968. The book chronicles Baldrige's life and career, including her time as social secretary for the U.S. Ambassador in Paris and Rome, as well as her role as Jacqueline Kennedy's chief of staff in the White House.
