This is the final paragraph of Harvey Milk's speech from the Gay Pride Parade in San Francisco in 1978. It is something we all need to remember now more than ever. Today is Milk's birthday. He remains my second favorite Jewish guy with strong ties to New York and San Francisco born on May 22nd.
