The last poem L posted online was about our quick trip to Ottawa. He had a good time, as he had never been (I showed him The Glebe, where my aunt lives, and Parliament Hill). It was an unusually warm and sunny February day.

Found this photo of happier poetry times at Danny’s in Chicago. Deeply good reading series run by Joel Craig. Simone would often DJ soul and new wave nights and we’d often run into so many great people there. (AD in the background, Traudi with us that night).
