I ordered a ham (for pick-up, not delivered) for $2.99/lb. Seemed like a deal until I received a 14# ham with $1.99/lb. price tag. I would have simply walked inside the store to save $14 had I known.

Although I hoped to remain positive in the pending new year, this is NOT what I intended (from last night):

I tried to stay away from Amazon but I caved to get a deal & fast delivery.

Was supposed to arrive yesterday but hasn't shipped.

I can only hope the delay is due to a strike.

I will have an easier time explaining to my son why his gift was late than why I ordered from Amazon in the first place.
