this was originally supposed to be my four day project but my back exploded after day two so that whole thing kinda went out the window. I'm still going to try to get this done relatively quickly but I'm going to take a little more time than I was initially planning.

yet another WIP for the pile, started this a couple days ago, but I'm pretty satisfied with what I've gotten done in that time... I think this model is going to stay in Blender for eventual animations and renders, maybe a more focused scope will help me actually finish...

I don't like this matcap, it is super uncanny but it is also giving me a good idea of how my geometry is shaping up so uggggggh

mostly refinement + topology tweaks today, might steal some hands from another project for the sake of my own sanity... idk what I'm going to do texture-wise yet, I'm still struggling there.

simple hair, probably going to try and split the bigger clumps up a bit when I have some more time to tinker.

my last two cats had a similar size dynamic, it is probably hard to tell in this picture, but it is the only one I have of them together... I miss them both terribly
