And yes, Air Riders has a ton of options like turning off CPUs, disabling specific Stadiums, turning off the Stadium vote at the end, and much more.

Calling it now, 100% one of the checklist achievements is to destory one (or all) buildings with this

So there should never be a situation where a lucky early spawn decides the game.

Things like Machine camping (destroying every Machine before a Machine-less player can reach it) is forbidden in tournaments since that means one kill decides it all.

Like that there have been some amazing come backs!

There are some that are considered better in the early-game, late-game, and specific stadiums.
Which Machine you get, and how early, might impact it a little bit, but at least in Riders, the machines seem to be much much better balanced than they were on the GameCube.

In the original, Kirby was the only character, so we'll still need to see who would be top-tiers, if different Kinds of characters are viable and all that.

Usually there are plenty Machines around, and Riders seems to have Machines around even more frequently.

Also you really shouldn't think of the Stadium as the battle, it is fought during the entirety of the City already! Attacking, retreating, messing with your opponent, stealing items, it is a fight!

There's a lot of risk-reward managing, actually.
