I mean, I always find them anyway, but this seems like a ghostbusters kind of trap where they all just appear and shout.

Imagine defending self important dicks because you think I'm having a pop at you, specifically.

Fucking hell.

Way to out yourselves.

Bravo.

Actually, you know what, after looking through your posts... I saw you state that you think most relationships are unhealthy.

I'll do us both a favour, farewell odd kid.

There's very few photographs of my face online, I do not use my real name and I don't post videos of myself.

So please, feel free to explain how my rather extremely anonymous presence amounts to narcissism, or have you just read a few posts and drawn an overtly wild conclusion?

I started selling my music to raise money for charity, and I often try to help people via my music, because I want to help others.

You can criticise me as much as you want, a rather anonymous entity under the guise of a band name...

But I very much disagree. Ha.

You don't know anything about me.

I do not consider myself important, I am merely one individual in billions. I do not require admiration, nor do I feel entitled to it. I don't consider myself better than others in many respects, I don't feel the need to lie or exaggerate any accomplishments...

I disagree completely. Making art is not a narcissistic trait, while it can be- for certain reasons, it's certainly not the draw for me or many of my friends.

Why do you think making art requires a degree of narcissism?

It's ridiculous to lump science in with politics like this, as I said, it's all reductive.

Science is science. Politics is always a game of popularity and is often corrupt.

Half these tech bro people flip political allegiance whenever it suits their pockets.

This conversation isn't worth having.

Show you someone?

Mate, you're listing powerful Billionaires and coming at it from an American-centric viewpoint.

China's own government scientists are doing more with technology that will solve issues than anywhere else.

Show me someone right wing that isn't an inherently selfish asshole.
November 29, 2025 at 12:25 AM
This is an incredibly reductive view.

You seem to be forgetting all the renewable technology the right seems to want to stamp out because it affects their profits and messes up capitalism. What right wing tech is being pushed?

Machines to replace workers? Language models? Money bubbles...

I'm sure there are lovely people who are earnestly cringe-worthy in many respects and folk who really mean it, but it comes across as utter self importance or obnoxiousness

Then again, Threads does seem to be the place where the most vapid and brain dead people tend to gather.

I'm not sure what about it attracts the mind wipes, maybe introducing the written word to the instagram hunzos was a bad plan.
November 28, 2025 at 4:37 PM
The posts were literally just about how I don't like self important artists that think their work is important and those that over explain their art...

That was it.

I had a few comments on Threads, that it must be rage bait, some people trying to insult me... Very odd stuff.

Amusingly, he's a very distant cousin of mine.

I'm glad some people like my music, I don't pretend its going to change your life or make you weep after imparting some spiritual knowledge on you, its thumpy dancy indie rock stuff.

There's far more important things in the world.

We are in the era of 'the influencer' though, where seemingly everyone wants to be famous and they love to pretentiously vomit about how they and whatever they make means something and is important, how relevant they are and their art is and how they deserve attention.
November 27, 2025 at 7:47 PM
Even if its good art, sometimes the person behind it attempting to explain why, or what it means to them- it can be utterly off-putting. Not always, but a lot of the time for me anyway. Maybe things should speak for themselves?
