“Today, videos are made for 100 million people at a time — they have to hit the lowest common denominator,” Jain says. “A video made just for you or me is better than one made for two unrelated people. That’s the problem we’re trying to solve... My intention is to get to a place where two hours of video can be generated for every human every day.” For Dream Machine to become what Jain envisions, it needs more than generative tricks — it needs a built-in narrative engine that understands how stories work: when to build tension, where to land a joke, how to shape an emotional arc. Not a tool but a collaborator. “I don’t think artists want to use tools,” he says. “They want to tell their stories and tools get in their way. Currently, pretty much all video generative models, including ours, are quite dumb. They are good pixel generators. At the end of the day, we need to build general intelligence that can tell a f— funny joke. Everything else is a distraction.”

Half star user review of The Hunting Wives on Rotten Tomatoes. Vulgar viewing. I couldn't make it past the first 20 minutes of the first episode. In those 20 minutes a woman uses paper towels as a maxi pad, and makes eye contact with a young man while he is masterbating in front of his girlfriend. Gross.

The Starfish Story An old man was walking on the beach one morning after a storm. In the distance, he could see someone moving like a dancer. As he came closer, he saw that it was a young woman picking up starfish and gently throwing them into the ocean. "Young lady, why are you throwing starfish into the ocean?" "The sun is up, and the tide is going out, and if I do not throw them in they will die," she said. "But young lady, do you not realize that there are many miles of beach and thousands of starfish? You cannot possibly make a difference." The young woman listened politely, then bent down, picked up another starfish and threw it into the sea.
