If higher damage output overall with Metagross is desired, then the Expert Belt (x1.2), Life Orb (x1.3), or Weakness Policy(x1.5) would have a greater effect. I've currently been using the Expert Belt with it and I've yet to try the others. A regular Metagross can still use Plus Moves, too.
