Metaphorically occupying a spot in the foyer. In the building, but staying aware of, and close to, the exits.

Ask me about the scratchy wall covering.
Apologies if it's already been pointed out and corrected, but it was Washington State University that bred Cosmic Crisp, not UW.

BTW, this isn't an old doctrine. The church had a booklet titled "God Loveth His Children" that they published in 2007 that outlined this basic theology, and was only discontinued in 2020.

Myth almost busted. If the ticket was a ticket that was voided, and you unknowingly buy it on the resale market and try to get in, it's no longer proof that you are permitted entry to the venue. www.npr.org/transcripts/...

Look I mostly hate Phillips head screws and will use others when possible, but I wouldn't go on main and claim that I've never seen a torx head screw before. I wonder if his next article is going to be about JIS heads and drivers.

When we did go back we masked up and I think there were 2 other families that were also masking consistently. Again this was mid 2022 and covid hospitalization rates in our county looked like this.

3 years later we're now the only people in the ward that mask consistently.

What a dick move to put up the "Presidential Walk of Fame" in the West Colonnade and hang up an image of an autopen signing Biden's signature for Biden's portrait.

Some of us average American millennial men were punks who had bands like "The Vandals" and "Dead Kennedys" teaching us at a young age [checks notes] "Hitler Bad, Vandals Good," and "Nazi Punks Fuck Off," respectively.

Probably going to base it on this prototype. Will sell accessory kits to add battery packs for recharging on the go, bluetooth speakers, ring lights, etc.

I was married, but I’m not married anymore. Women don’t like the vehicle.

I was curious so I looked up the article. Oh look! A secret ingredient! It's potato starch. Popular Mechanics doesn't bury that lede.

Wait a minute. You're mixing the potato starch with simulated Mars dust to make the concrete!?! That's the lede! Why isn't Mars dust the secret ingredient?

Adding one more thing I remembered after reading it again. The highlighted statement is incorrect.

There are quite a few throughout the church's history called from outside the 12. I think the last to serve were Thorpe B. Isaacson and Alvin R. Dyer, both counselors to McKay until his death in 1970.

Poll results are in and we're going to be reading "Second-Class Saints: Black Mormons and the Struggle for Racial Equality" by Matthew L. Harris next in #MormonSkyBookClub.

She doesn't know Pres. Benson 1.0 was pretty tame compared to Elder Benson or Secretary Benson.

Oaks as Pres. Benson 2.0 would just try to get us all to study the Book of Mormon more.

You said they have "no ability to distinguish someone else’s 'spiritual gifts' from a fraud," and based on previous events, it might only be a con man that has a chance of making something like this happen.

But now we're getting to the concept of someone like JS viewed without the church's lens.

I don't think many people noted it, but in the church's press release for Pres. Nelson's death last Saturday, they noted that we were probably not going to reorg before his funeral next week.

I remember being shocked with how tall soybean plants grew when I first saw them in Argentina. So much so, I had this photo taken where it looks like I'm just a head sticking up out of a field of green. To be clear, the plants are probably 4-4.5 feet tall. I am crouching down.
