Two stories, centuries apart but still intertwining, taking place in the Levant region and northern Africa. One is a heavy and heart wrenching story of characters fleeing war in Syria. Fucked me up but I'm very glad I read it. R

A collection of comic journalism from varying countries, including reporting from Gaza, the US war on Iraq, refugees in Malta, Chechens displaced by war, and people living in the lowest classes in India. Intense and informative. amazingly careful visual representations of people's lives. I 🖤 Sacco

A look at the growing movement of people leaving the evangelical church and a discussion of a number of reasons for their departure. Interesting but not particularly revelatory for me
