I won’t be making this mistake again. I will follow you guys anywhere! The people I was exposed to regularly, who built communities and followings on TikTok, make the internet a better place. I appreciate you all. 🫶

I didn’t follow them because I felt 1) the need protest the other platforms, 2) that it wouldn’t be the same in another space, and 3) that the right content would find me again. But as soon as they were gone, the panic set in, and I was scrambling to remember everyone I loved on that app.

While wandering alone in the TikTok shutdown void, desperate to get my algorithm back, I realized I should have listened to all the creators I loved who were begging me to follow them on other platforms.

It’s literally a symptom of exactly that.
