The films capture alot of what sonic fans love about the series constantly and in well done ways, Sonic 2 and now Sonic 3 are probably some of the best Sonic Media out there now thanks to the liberties taken too make the characters tightly written

15/10, 10 stars out of 5, 300 outa 100, the film that got me hyped for the first time in 5 years, the film thats jam packed full of references only little goblins like me will get, filled with more heart than inside out 2, one of the single greatest messages in cinema history, its goddamn Sonic 3

This is now my favorite film of all time beating Wall-E, is it a better film than Wall-E or alot of other films? Maybe not, but to me this is a film made for me, made specifically too inspire and reinvigorate people who have alot of love too give but need a hand to show how. 11/

And hearing a piece of god damn Live and Learn as they move past their traumas and grief to work for a better tomorrow than it was today genuinely had me screaming "absolute Cinema" while bawling my fucking heart out. And the goddamn action that follows... its a fucking must see 10/

I have so much to say about this film but undoubtedly the moment that will stick with me for probably the rest of my life is Shadow and Sonic going susper for the second time, both of them resolving their greif and choosing to do the next right thing in the most spectacular way possible. 9/

Jim Carrey Outdid himself in this film literally and professionally, he played two well down and performed characters and added a layer of genuine introspection too robotnic that had me thinking I was watching the Truman Show, also make Stone x Robotnic cannon 8/

Shadow the God Damn hedghog. His backstory tightly written and severely effective. His performance and body language were genuinely the most justice you are going to get to the original character, and the liberties that were taken only heightened Shadow's story and arc throughout the movie 7/

This version of Sonic has really grown on me over the years, I appreciated the more experienced and vulnerable performance by Ben Shwartz this time around, added alot and helped aid the parallel Sonic had with Shadow in this film. Speaking of which 6/

I always like the human scenes in the previous films but im so glad they took a backseat to flesh out shadow and the rest of sonic team more. The film is tighter and better for it, Tom had a few great moments and fulfills his role very well Maddy too even if shes a bit lesser 5/

I audibly said "oh my god tails is actually doing things in these films" multiple times because Im so used to the crappy and shallow writing the dude gets in the games, tails is treated with so much respect and its so nice to see. 4/

The films unlike the games are very very consistent with their character writing, everyone has a place in the narrative and everyone gets something important to say and do. I enjoyed seeing the subtle nods to Knuckles clearly being the strongest of the trio and fulfills an older brother role 3/

The animation was some of the best ive seen out of the industry and not a single frame took me out of the immersion. The attention to detail and expressiveness in each and every character whether through animation or acting was jaw dropping. 2/
