Just finished today's round of calls to my elected officials. I'm so tired. I can't keep up with all the current issues.

Found out my Congress rep has a satellite office right in my town every first Friday morning of the month. Went with a friend this morning and found several other like-minded folks already in line. I know there's a lot of chaos out there, but your reps need to hear from you. 🧵

Call your senators and Congress reps. Voice your concerns but also find out what committees they sit on so you can voice specific concerns pertaining to the committees they might have influence on.

Also, save the numbers on your phone so it will be easier to call next time.

I was doomscrolling this morning.

It's very easy to fall into despair and it's ok to seek out comfort through fun things. Fill your cup and then when you can, do an act of resistance.

Today I am starting an indoor edible garden and taking stock of my collection of banned books.
