It would be interesting to see if there’s any comparisons out there between number of injuries and the ‘importance’ of the injured players to the team

I’d be interested in the possible number 6 profiles around. I know we got the clause with Cardoso, but no idea on the player. Or what other 6’s are around / would fit Ange’s system

If you want other players to fill that profile then sure. But right now we haven’t got it because they are injured

I can’t remember if Maddison did or not, but if I’m being picky there are times I would prefer Maddison just to get on with it

But the players are dead, and Ange has no choice but to keep playing them.

Injuries are hampering. Johnson and Son wing pairing doesn’t work for me, but Ange doesn’t exactly have many options.

You get players like Moore and Odibert, and Kulu back centrally, the amount we lose the ball will be far less and we’ll improve our chance creation

Absolutely, he’s proved himself at every stage and then got recruited for a bigger challenge at a bigger club.

He’s not proved himself at Spurs yet which he’ll want to do. And there’s not many more clubs that would be another step up for him anyway

I’ve seen good things said about this Cardoso guy at Betis, but I think we can’t activate whatever clause it was till summer.

With Bentancur, Biss, Sarr, Bergvall and Gray all in the team, I can’t see us getting another in Jan unless one of those leaves

GK and number 6 needed, possibly Jan depending on sales - but definitely in the summer

Transitions excellent, defensively against open play was very good before we lost our goal keeper and two starting centre backs. We’re still scoring lots of goals. We more of a full squad who can all contribute now rather than 12/13 players
