I love myself a big dumb that hits things real hard but goodness do the wisdom saves do me in, ahaha!
As tough as it’s been, I feel very strongly about it and I’ll miss it when we move on from Barovia!

They were ahahah it was a string of bad choices and even worst rolls!
Us sworded folks were doing pretty well but then a pretty major boss showed up with a devastating aura that’s wisdom save based and that killed the rest of us

A bit of both, I’d say! The most spoiler-free of our TPKs had our monk and our caster locked in a room together incapacitated (and ended up killing each other) while the melee kids were in the other room fighting a bunch of enemies with no way of healing

Yes, and… ahaha! We’ve had quite some misfortune. It’s a blast, though, we’re just desperately missing the low stake tavern crawls and side quests ahahah! Can’t really have those in Barovia!

Omg I cannot recommend it more! It’s a blast! CoS is… well, let’s just say I’m very fortunate to be playing it with the amazing folks I’m playing with. It’s a doozy and a half, we went through two full TPKs!
