Love an art improvement meme 🌟 2020 vs 2025! I think there's a lot that can be learned by looking back at old work, my digital painting style was really stiff and tedious at the time but I do love the effect of the clearly delineated folds and shadows vs. my softer rendering now. Both are cool!

I'm Daro, I love drawing ttrpg characters and am particularly inspired by late medieval illuminated manuscripts and art!! I'm also obsessed with my OC Soren, the last sketch is a concept I started last night for a dress up game starring him lol.

While Soren is kidnapped I've been playing a dragonborn named Pyrite so I've gotta get better at drawing dragon people!!! She's a doomsday cultist who wants to forge bonds between the gods so they can help save the world. Also she's just generally a little freak and I love her.
Pyrite, a buff dragonborn in armor, holds Xander under one arm as one might a cat who doesn't like to be held. Pyrite looks intimidatingly down at the viewer while holding a shield and a flail.
