They’re typically found in American Chinese food. They’re watery & crunchy and I don’t like the texture. The texture is similar to a raw potato and the taste is pretty bland. Nothing similar to a real chestnut unfortunately!

When I tell people I’ll eat anything, I mean it. Pretty rare I find something I won’t eat. Although I would add water chestnuts to the list- I hate those things 🙃
