Wow! I was just reading through the find and so many amazing items!!! The chisels and anvil are gorgeous too, but this copper alloy hacksaw is so fabulous. So glad the detector called in the experts and it could be lifted as a block, so much would have been lost.
A copper alloy hacksaw blade, broken in 5 places with one small piece in the middle missing. It has a lovely green patina and the teeth on the blade are very visible. A Bronze Age hoard of copper alloy artefacts dating to c 1650-900 BC

Thanks I will! I’m looking for them, I can remember seeing some prior to the 90s but I don’t know what happened to them. The reason she left SF was because she had a drug problem, got clean in the early 70s and then fell off the wagon in the late 90s again. She passed in 2000.Her in 1967 1/

Let the festive season begin! My precious baby cat/bat demon has taken his place of honor on top of my Yule/Xmas tree!
