Why are you surprised at the juncos? I’m in Maryland and they seem to be here year round? But I only have feeders out in winter so maybe I’m not noticing their disappearance. Where are they going?

Yay! I have hyssop but other than coreopsis and yard, not much for natives. Herbs and greens coming along, but many haven’t popped up yet even with the few warm days

Thank you for the plant suggestions! I love my fireflies. We have a lot of light at night close to the city but my backyard is dark enough they can put on a show
