Still convinced they're not even deporting as many people as they say they are, they're just using that as an excuse to put untrained armies in the cities they don't like. It's not a good excuse, but it's the excuse that makes their base give them money.

I know this is such a minor pet peeve but few things just plain piss me off about the people in Trump's orbit like how they all feel like they need to talk like him to curry his favor. It will take *decades* for the English language to recover from this.

Is this normal anywhere else? Or is this just because Florida is such a LOVELY state to live in? I dunno. Just feels like there's a story here somewhere. Something deeper going on that I don't see.

Plus, the time slot is when all the tourist families are driving their kids in rental cars to Disney World so that feels like a problem too.

I get that talk radio is often like this (though probably less jock-y). This feels nefariously different. Putting it on a standard music channel feels like legitimizing it despite being arguably more extreme than the talk stations.

Like in the few horrifying minutes I mistakenly listened to it today they were calling 90% of ICE detainees child abusers, blaming poor literacy rates on literally "brown and black" kids, and saying protestors in MN should be shipped to North Korea to protest there.

So there's a radio station where I live (Orlando area) that most of the time plays decent music (you know, "best of the 80s, 90s, and today" type) that inexplicably in the w/d mornings has one of the most disgustingly bigoted and fascist shock jock shows I've ever heard, as if this is normal radio.
