Hello! I am Lilly Fister, a Sophomore from St. Louis studying Journalism at University of Missouri- Columbia. I am excited to use this account to further develop my brand and share my work from the Journalism School and around Mizzou!
Last semester I took Journalism 1200: Fundamentals of Visual Journalism and Strategic Communication. Through this class I was able to work with a wide variety of technology and really focus on what I want to do in the future! It was so awesome to learn about how all parts of journalism interact!

In the summer of 2023 I was able to attend a journalism camp that lead me to attend Mizzou! I am so glad to see these opportunities are still being held to help guide young journalists.
One of my favorite experiences from my summer in Columbia was working as a chaperone for the Missouri High School Journalism Workshop. This program introduced me to so many talented high school journalists, and I hope to see them on campus in the coming years!

In the summer of 2023 I was able to attend a journalism camp that lead me to attend Mizzou! I am so glad to see these opportunities are still being held to help guide young journalists.
This past summer I spent time as a Summer Welcome Leader, here at Mizzou. I learned a multitude of skills, such as becoming more confident with public speaking, leading my peers and effective communication. I am so thankful for this experience and am excited to continue using these skills!
