People often disparage the press — and we often get it wrong — but almost everything you know about this administration is not because pundits go on tv or social media and pontificate but because of relentless reporting from real journalists at institutions that give them resources to do so.

I should have explained “ministering” better. In the church’s sense, it means visiting the sick and supporting those who are ill and have no one. Person-to-person contact. Apologies for not being more clear.

Some churches certainly are. Others are ministering to the sick, the poor, and the lonely. Should those churches, many of them barely surviving, be punished for the actions of some?
