A lot of people try to wave it off as weak PKs taken but their takers had to deal with Audi around them and scary Aubrey on the walk up. And our takers were against AKB, Moorhouse, and Bloomer, at least 2 of whom are pretty good bets to make at least one save in a shootout. And they saved none.

Yeah I’m sure no player wants it ended in regulation and they love the extra 30+ of running and then the stress of PKs💀

I wish I could psychoanalyze what it looks like more but all I have is the broadcast and I did not watch either one at Audi live I was facing the opposite direction lol

The psychology of it is interesting and it’s been talked about in terms of Bloomer having that like wild energy and high octane but it’s significantly scarier imo to see Aubrey looking like this is a training ground situation and as calm as can be.

You can tell that a PK shootout is in the conversation even beyond the mention in the presser, it’s incredibly disciplined. Even when there’s a make it doesn’t look like the players are running or moving around a ton in celebration, they stay roughly in line and send out the buddy.
