Maybe something like a used Toughbook Cf-31 with the rubberized keyboard. Frankly feels awful to type on but it’s got pretty good ingress protection to resist water damage. Then a shower chair and some cheap table, charge it inbetween showers.

I definitely wouldn’t split platform, it rarely works out well. For potentially NSFW art, I would definitely go with subscribestar, way less risk of having to start over and like, why add to life’s stress by starting on a platform you are constantly worried will ban you.

I ended up getting an android e-ink tablet that I use exclusively for reading, I stripped it of everything except the note taking app and ebook software I use, it’s really helped.

Here is a good list of many of the warmlines in the United States, and it’s usually really easy to google ones serving your local area if you are outside the US. They are a great lesser-known resource. 💕

Generally they are staffed by other people who have experienced mental health struggles, many of them still in treatment, but also have training to help them provide peer support. I’ve found them way less stigmatizing than crisis lines.
