Did it have jank? Abso-fucking-lutely (triple weaving phoenix, other issues resolved in Endwalker/DT related to summons, etc)
But god, it was incredibly fun even as a new player who did not get the intricacies of it until much later and nothing has scratched that itch since.

I'm honestly surprised that they went back to fix that considering how long its been since it was accidentally removed in one of the patches, but hurray!! 😤
