i used to raid quite extensively and none of the strikes from eod/soto scratched the itch that hot/pof raids provided. even with the challenge modes.

soto was my last expansion before i stopped playing. the living story and the repetitive content left alot to be desired. especially with how long all of the meta events and convergence was. you couldn't just drop in and do one real quick like with some of the older ones.

Highly recommend playing through hot as a sylvari. Lot of npc dialogue and even some special stuff. Only really cared about the story on my main male sylvari thief, but most of the voice acting i've heard playing other characters was pretty good.

The only price point I'm seeing ($35) is the physical copy released through fangamer, which usually upcharges a bit for physical copies. The digital download is probably going to be $20, but cant say for sure. Still a lot for a remaster/port of an existing free game.
