Not a pet, but this female wild turkey was meandering through our yard with 4 or 5 chicks trailing after her. I tried to get a picture of them too, but the grass was a bit too high and my camera wasn’t up to the task. 💖

A babbling stream can be heard nearby and the wind carries the scent of peat and moss, and all things natural. It’s shocking in its simplicity. In the freshness of a new start. Viktor wakes slowly, taking in all these things with only a vague notion of how he’d come to be here, pressed warmly against Jayce’s back in a clean bed, free from the smog of the undercity, and of Piltover’s machines and magic. His hand is splayed over Jayce’s stomach. His bare stomach. Viktor knows immediately that it’s his partner, recognizing the scent and warmth of him even if he’d never been so intimately close to Jayce before. Viktor’s fingers curl, his nails scratching the trail of hair below Jayce’s navel. Viktor can’t see where his fingertips are searching, Jayce is entirely too broad. Deliciously broad.
