Genuine question. If the cloture motion passes, does the full bill then only require 51 yes to pass? Or does the filibuster threshold apply to the final vote too?
If so, then of course a yes on cloture is a yes on the bill. They have a majority. Who’s tryna convince us otherwise?

I think I can be helpful but I genuinely have no clue where to start. I gave myself a pass for doing nothing while I was in the first couple years of transition but it’s been long enough. gotta be some way that a 27yo transfem engineer can make a difference in politics!

Straight up fantastic advice i got that I’ve passed on to others. If you decide you don’t want it, you can literally just stop. They’ll almost certainly know for sure long before anything becomes noticeably irreversible

I can’t find an exact source but everything I’ve found on this says it was from a magazine photo shoot in the 70s. Can’t figure out which magazine. I think it’s real…..and oh my gosh talk about a package

I’m with you, this article completely misses the point. She’s being a good team player right now so she has Kamala’s ear when it matters. Bernie made the progressive speech for her. AOC has an opportunity to transcend her faction and she’s showing she can frame her politics for a more moderate crowd
