I believe Pew Research has unbiased practices so I’m sure they’ve done everything as perfect as possible. It’s just these long existing nuances in research and surveys such as context-specific factors and self-selection biases that makes the data not completely (100%) reliable.

I don’t agree with her generalization but it’s not fear-mongering nor gaslighting. It is exaggerated (for drama?)but it doesn’t change the fact. US politics affects other countries politics. Myanmar coup happened a few weeks after Capitol Riots. Trump has a lot of similar qualities to MM Junta head.

Business people care more about their business and money than politics or others. They only care about politics for their business’s sake (lobbying). Zuckerberg has just been playing business game. But we can see the rise of right wing from this though now that he’s openly kissing Trump’s ass.

It’s just his name parts are common name parts of a lot of burmese. Min means King. Aung means Victory. Hlaing means abundance. Burmese people like to choose those kind of meaningful words for names.

This article should explain how they bypassed it. Even though the arrest warrant situation is similar, there are some differences as well because Myanmar has two government rn (de facto; junta and dejure; NUG). I do hope that UN and other countries will act on about Palestine 🇵🇸 soon too 😞

I agree. Where I am from, we have civil war across the whole country with a dictator running it, most of the time on state-controlled media, they brand minority armed groups (ethnic armed groups) as drug importers/distributors. It’s all part of an agenda.

He is threatened by Bluesky, with the dems being the main users shifting from other platforms, he is going to the other side. Go cry to daddy Zu Zu 😂. I really hope other influential ppl and politicians will stand behind Bluesky for it to stay here. Don’t let Suckerbug get his way ppl!!!!

they don’t give any hoot at least not like how it’s being talked about. China only care about itself. They just don’t know how to deal with this platform to keep their people oppressed & brainwashed (like ban or control/manipulate). They do care about their image though.

I think it’s better to keep Bluesky quasi-centralized. Honestly, I feel like going too far in either direction—fully centralized or completely decentralized—isn’t great. Right now, they’ve got a solid balance, and they just need to keep that equilibrium.

oh definitely 💯 Academics stemmed from old classist elitist system. It used to be nobles or rich ppl or privileged ppl in those fields (not like it changed much). And, only those kind of ppl can be in academic field too due to little financial rewards they give in that field. Not all, but…..

That’s what I used to do before Chat GPT too. It just takes twice long for me to do things than native speakers would 😒. You can’t trust chat GPT or any AI 100% but boy does it save time. But then again why can’t research paper be written with plain old simple words or sentence structures??????
