I'm referring to the others who literally lack the ability to understand anyone else's point of view in any way. What would that be called? Because that isn't a lack of compassion, it's a lack of being able to map another's mind.

Honestly, its both. There's a lack of empathy from some and a lack of compassion from many. Either way it's rough, and the world is cruel. There's ways we can live better, and it's easier than people think to follow the rules of civil conversation, but often people don't try if it doesn't serve them

I think the biggest problem is that these people have internal biases and/or haven't been properly exposed to any of it except extreme news stories that villainize all of it. Not just Trans but anything LGBTQ+. I'm sorry for those who directly struggle with these people. Stay strong, love on. 2/2
