If Chezdon ever goes into standup comedy, #2 would be a great way to start off a routine.

You have got to be kidding. It's not even as though you are under 25 any more! That's a lot of money.

Sleet isn't so bad. The daily rain for the next two weeks is a different matter altogether. If you wanted daily rain, try Hawaii where it's 65-75 and the rains pass after about 30 minutes.

Never would have thought Amsterdam would be colder than NYC in winter, but it clearly is.

the front office. Say what you want to about Palmer, the man knows pitching.

Until the Os get someone other than Elias leading the train, don't expect a pitching staff that can contend. The best determinant of future behavior is past behavior. And Elias has given no signs of understanding pitching. At. All.

If the Os had been smart, they would have brought Jim Palmer into

It sure would help if they focused on a GM/President who understood pitching. They haven't done that for a long time. Since the Williams era, actually. And therein lay the problem.

Reagan listened to Laffer, and it's unclear at best that it helped either much at all.

You don't need a department for that.
November 21, 2025 at 2:56 AM
There is no reshoring taking place. Period.

Why is the Dept of Ed sacrosanct? The country went through WW2 and most of the 20th century without it. What's the benefit exactly? All that has happened since the DoE came into being is an explosion in college tuitions far out of proportion to costs for professors.

So what's the argument here?
