I haven't used one of the old ones, I assume you mean the gen with the monochrome screen? I would assume those would be kinda clunky... I have a 5.5 gen (ipod video) personally, and i love it!
if you put a flash adapter in, you can get up to 4tb of storage in it! and it has a headphone jack!

600 bucks? People, just get a Nothing phone at this point. Nothing's most expensive phone isn't even close to the price of this thing.
