We need to empower the people who remain and the untapped powerhouse of the diaspora of these communities where the generational wealth is not family trust funds or property portfolios but a long legacy of emigration, generation after generation

While it’s an excellent piece, it’s made me very angry. The casual mockery of rural Ireland and those from rural Ireland that’s become very prevalent in recent years won’t pass me again without being called out.

It’s also the most poignant piece that I have seen that forces you to see how communities strangled by the knotweed of Government and CoCo neglect for years are now effectively silenced from speaking out about being inundated with refugees without social or community support
