Up to 2,000 Japanese Americans “died” (were murdered by the U.S. government) in WWII internment camps. So of course students don’t learn about that, or about America’s historical wrongs in general, anymore. It’s inconvenient to the military industrial complex for the people to be well-educated.

I know a Bulgarian immigrant who lived under Zhivkov and who currently works as a translator.
He’s already looking at other countries to move to as he remembers all too well how despots operate.
