I don’t think this is a you specific problem, but rather an issue with the medium. By nature, most art advice videos are going to be a little “vague” because the advice is meant to be helpful to all viewers. I think what the people saying this want is more specific advice, aka a mentorship.

I think sometimes it’s just the luck of the draw, and sometimes getting clients like that means your prices are too low. A lot of people who post those stories are just starting out, therefore they don’t know how to weed out people like that yet.

I dunno about grouping skulls differently, bones is bones. Unless you have so many two pages is necessary. I really need to bite the bullet and get a design from you, but I’m so indecisive, I need to nail down a theme. lol

To me the major difference seems to be your artistic skills have changed and improved, but also the skin color on the right helps the face pop more. So the right.
