When we speak on or highlight America’s cruelty to non white people because it’s uncomfortable or inconvenient. They say since slavery is over and Jim Crow is over things have changed. Slavery might be over but oppressive behaviors and racism became subtle. It’s all still there and most people

The racist structure, frame and mindset from 100-150 years ago is still there. So, yes. This is exactly who America is and they want to keep it that way, Refusal to fully address America’s cruel foundation is why progress is extremely limited.
