This is why you know nothing. There is not a "trend". There is improved care and treatments which allow more people to explore and seek help that was not available when I transitioned. The unfair and discriminatory barriers that once existed are worse and/or gone. More of us will survive.

We are not a "hobby" for you. We are people who have lived this life, and some of us have survived while others have not.

The views, the explanations, the lives of those who live it, who feel it, matter.

Have you considered that as a cis person, you know nothing about what it means to be trans or gender non conforming And thus should not be interjecting?
