Good ole early 1900s steam trains 🐶

Thanks North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences for another amazing BugFest!! There was a ton of amazing vendors and cool critters. Of course I visited the gar, but I also found this cool bug outside!! Can’t wait to come back again next year!

Front facing long nose gar in a giant fish tank, there’s a roundish black fish and another gar in the background to the left. My reflection in the tank glass is faintly visible. Myself and fursuiter Fruitstick, the centipede. They’ve got a big brown head with two pincers on each side, and two long antenna hanging down in front. They hold up two thumbs-up with black and orange striped arm sleeves, and wear matching striped socks.

Five hand sewn felt ornaments on a wooden desk. A red gnome, two grey stars, a tan star, and a Christmas tree. The red gnome is tear drop shaped, with a “drippy” shaped beard, a big round nose, and a red, squiggly ribbon at the tip of its hat. The top middle star is dark grey, sewn all around the edges, and has a Dipper constellation made from tiny bronze beads. The bottom tan and grey stars are similar, but have 3 to four clusters of random bronze beads seen on. The Christmas tree to the right is made up of a grass green tip, an Erin green middle, and dark green base, with a dark brown square trunk. There are white iridescent sequins sewn across the tree, a cream thread at the tip, and a cream, paper tag with “2018” written on it.

Here’s some more that I’ve taken, the middle two are ones that I’ve got plated at the house. The first one from a botanical garden and the last one was found in a field with lupines. I’d like to gat more orange and yellow varieties.

I wish I had more 💔 calla lilies were one of my mom’s favorites

Ooh this was fun. I’ve taken plenty of photos of purple flowers, but I tried to find as many blue ones that I have.

Things have been a bit awful for me this year, but even so, I’m glad I got to be with my dad and grandmother in CT for a bit. It was harder to leave this time. I hope I can go back even sooner than a year.
