This new article in the nyt finds that wealthy countries are giving less and less to developing countries for climate related disasters. Especially in the face of Hurricane Melissa and a changing climate, this is particularly disheartening. Link below:

This new article in the nyt finds that wealthy countries are giving less and less to developing countries for climate related disasters. Especially in the face of Hurricane Melissa and a changing climate, this is particularly disheartening. Link below:

As a child in AL I was no stranger to tornados, but it wasn't until the 2011 outbreak that my interest in weather/ENVS started. My home was struck by lighting on April 27th, during the tornado, and burnt down. We ran outside into the storm to escape and that is when my obsession began!
