If Star Wars films have a flaw, including TLJ, it's that they have too many competing plots and it can be easy to lose focus on the messages. Than Johnson admitted that the Po Dameron plot was added last minute to give the character something to do, and I think that was a mistake.

What the right find annoying about the left is that we give voice to their doubts and insecurities. When they doubt themselves, they do so with the image of a leftist in their heads. But there's no way around that because the right genuinely do not deserve their status; that's the social reality.

The thing is, the right are incredibly emotionally insecure. They're eternally trying to prove that their social status is correct and deserved, but such a thing can never be truly proven because it's a social reality, not an objective one. They're vulnerable to any challenge and easily threatened.

Honestly, good. We don't need to feel pressured to buy things from a company engaging in genocide. I wish Harry Potter stuff sucked even more than it often does. Mediocrity clearly isn't enough; we need a Fantastic Beasts tier disaster.
