You know, I think my reading comprehension failed me on this one, as this whole thread I've pretty much had people who stay home/vote third party on election day in mind. My bad on that one 😅

I guess in that case I would vote for the people more likely to change their minds, or failing that make my vote a parting shot for harm reduction, maybe I can't be saved regardless (say both options are gunning for me) but maybe I can help others get through.

I feel like that time is valuable, the best case being it gives us more time to turn things around, but even in the worst case I think extra years of freedom, life, etc. are worthwhile. Given no other choice I will vote for the guy promising to kill me in 5 years if the other guy will do it in 2.

Like, obviously if the system is offering a shit sandwich and a piss sandwich, the preferable option is to make systemic change so those aren't your choices, but lacking the power to affect that change I don't think it's a good idea to condemn everyone to the worse option out of spite.

This is obviously a really bad space for nuance, but I am going over this image and find myself fundimentally agreeing within the silly hypothetical. Like if you can't stop totalitarianism by force (yet) then the only two routes I see are acceleration or harm reduction,and I lean the latter.

I was VERY suprised to here that it knocked Daggerheart out of the top spot, but very good indicator!

I couldn't say for sure, but my guess would be some kind of merchandising issue (like low expected toy sales or some such).

After the presidential election I just didn't have the heart to let myself believe it was possible, but New York has delivered hope unlooked for, and I rejoice all the more for it!
