i can sympathize! it’s gotta be hard to choose between your increasingly imperilled trans userbase or a “journalist” guy whose career involves writing articles not inaccurately described as hit pieces on youth access to trans healthcare. all while anti-trans sentiment reaches a fever pitch! tricky!

i’ve noticed a thing on here where people respond to extremely obvious shitposts in a very literal manner. if dril’s candle tweet happened here people would be like, “that’s an awful lot to spend on candles. what brand are you buying?”

i didn’t say an HR meeting is an activist org, i just said that snapping like this is a thing, and not just in “beatnik poetry readings.” the author is painting the HR meeting like it’s a DSA meeting or anarchist book club. that’s WHY it’s ridiculous.

you should do some introspection on why your instinct is to laugh in the face of something when you hear it’s an accommodation for disabilities

absolutely. he’s painting the newsroom as if it’s like a gathering in an anarchist bookstore or something

i’ve never forgotten the role he played in rescuing biden’s dying campaign and burdening us with him instead of bernie. and history won’t forget it either.

yeah, the folks fixating on that part as the most absurd bit are kind of telling on themselves as not spending a lot of time in organizing spaces

yes, this is a thing people do in some groups. first time i ever saw it was in my fraternity in college. i’ve also seen it in some activist groups, sometimes used in place of clapping to accommodate people with sensory issues

“vote blue no matter who” in the bio of an account claiming to be antifa is an enormous flashing sign that the person behind it is a troll. come on.
