Plans for this week have been a bit derailed by jury duty, which may continue into next week. I'll know by EoD! Hoping I get some contract work this week or next to make up the costs of driving and pet sitting!

My react dog site now lets admin make time slots unavailable in the booking form. I think there's a lot more I could do (and would do if I'm using this template for production), but I think it might be good enough for now. The detail-oriented person in me could spend so much more time! #100devs

Goals today: Dog grooming day, hopefully finish my sample/template react site, bake the bread dough fermenting in my fridge. Next I really need to work on my algorithms and a bit of SQL, because honestly most of my projects so far seem like they could've used a relational db. #100devs

Some Admin Dashboard! Now I just need to block dates on the calendar and I should be good to go. There's always more I could do but I could probably put some of time into e.g. the second build of my 100hours... #100devs

Yesterday, I made a simple photo masonry (material ui) and hooked up my backend. Since this project is mostly a sample/template, I don't want to go too bananas with the admin dashboard. A way to mark booking status and block dates on the calendar should be enough for now. #100devs

How detailed does a sample site need to be? Well apparently I need an end date calendar that only appears for select services, as well as a "one-off or weekly" selection that appears for others. I still have styling stuff but think I have enough front end stuff done to set up the back end. #100devs

Emergency vet with the pup tonight. He's very unhappy but I hope he'll be okay! Lots of painkillers and antibiotics for the next days/weeks.

Continuing to poke at my React/Tailwind site. I've got an accordion on my services page now. And it's one column, because it was going to take more work for Material UI to behave itself with a 2-col layout. Now more logic for the booking form, maybe a gallery, and taking care of admin! #100devs

Working on a React/Tailwind site for my portfolio. At the end of the program it just seems like there's so much to do! Algorithms, I'm seeing lots of React jobs so let's use that, think my 100hours would be better w/a relational db so I should remake it etc... #100devs

I've been making something mushroomy every Sunday for TLoU. Ep1: Sausage + mushrooms + peppers. Ep2: Deep-friend shitake (Trader Joe's). Ep3: Mushroom gravy. Ep4: Mushroom stroganoff. I might do sweet & sour mushrooms for Ep5. We'll see! 🍄🍄🍄 #Cooking #TheLastofUs
